Principles that govern our platform
Every workflow, interface, and policy is engineered around clarity, mutual protection, and evidence.
Make the agreement clear before funding
Scope, milestones, deadlines, and delivery expectations are locked into a shared record before any capital moves.
Tie releases to visible conditions
Payments are held in segregated custody and released strictly when verified deliverables are inspected and approved.
Keep evidence with the relevant step
Tracking waybills, photos, review notes, and chat transcripts stay anchored directly to the transaction checkpoint.
Give both parties a fair way to respond
Disputes pause releases automatically and provide structured mediation windows rather than arbitrary chargebacks.
Explain protection in plain language
No vague 'bank-grade' marketing buzzwords. We state exactly who holds funds, where they are kept, and what triggers release.
Transparent about guarantees & limits
Verification confirms identity and corporate checks; milestone rules govern the execution of the deal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about protected deals, escrow custody, and milestone releases.
What is TrustedDealMaker?
TrustedDealMaker helps buyers and sellers structure and complete protected transactions. The parties agree on terms, place payment into a protected escrow hold, progress through delivery or milestones, and confirm completion before funds are released. If an agreement is breached, our evidence-led dispute process pauses the release while the case is reviewed.
Who holds the funds during a deal?
Funds are held securely in segregated custodial trust accounts provided by our licensed banking and financial custody partners. Neither party can unilaterally withdraw or redirect funds once a deal is funded until the agreed release conditions are satisfied or a dispute resolution is issued.
When does the seller get paid?
Payment is released strictly according to the conditions configured in the deal. Depending on the agreed structure, funds release upon buyer confirmation of delivery, passing of the 48-hour physical inspection window, or sign-off on individual project milestones.
What happens if I do not receive what was agreed?
You can open a dispute directly from your deal timeline before the inspection window closes. This automatically pauses the release of funds. Both parties submit evidence (tracking receipts, photographs, messages, specifications) and our arbitration team reviews the record to issue a fair resolution or refund.
What does 'verified seller' mean?
A verification badge indicates that the seller has completed identity checks (such as government-issued ID, NIN, or BVN) or verified their business registration documents with official corporate registries. While verification establishes trusted counterparty identity, every deal is still individually governed by escrow hold rules.
Is the mobile app required?
No. You can create, negotiate, fund, and manage your deals entirely through our web platform. Our iOS and Android mobile apps provide added convenience with push notifications for milestone submissions and fast biometric deal approvals on the go.
